NSW: Tooheys loses bid to force Coopers to abandon New label
SYDNEY, Feb 28 AAP - "Give that man a New" is the catchcry, but for punters seekingto quench a hard-earned thirst it may not be a Tooheys brew they shove into the stubbyholder.
Tooheys today lost a bid in the Federal Court to stop a rival brewery using the word"new" on its beer labels.
Coopers brewery moved factory in South Australia so it could diversify products andintroduced its "New Light" and New Draught" beers a fortnight ago.
