NSW: police investigate shooting death
SYDNEY, Dec 17 AAP - The body of a man killed by a gunshot wound to the chest has been
found in a car park in Sydney's south-west.
Police said the body of the 51-year-old man was found in a car park near rural properties
in Gurner Avenue, Austral, shortly before 6.25pm (AEDT).
A police spokesman said a rifle was recovered from the scene, and was currently undergoing
further examination.
A post mortem was expected to be carried out at the Westmead Morgue later today, the
spokesman said.
Police were continuing investigations.
